Sponsors and Giveaways!

So thanks to the support of many readers, Web Warrior Protocols had over a thousand visitors in its first week! This was great to see as I’ve been busy trying to make sure I get at least one article out a day, so having over two thousand views across the articles made last week made it all worth while.

Even better than this, my local gaming store, Board In Brum, has asked to sponsor Web Warrior Protocols! This is great news for the site, as hopefully it will bring more viewers both here and too the Board In Brum website.

Who are Board in Brum?

Board in Brum are a flgs based in the West Midlands. Selling Games Workshop, Asmodee, Fantasy Flight and many other products, BIB has a huge amount of stock – and they offer roughly 20% off on all products RRP.

BIB also has the largest amount of Marvel Crisis Protocol stock I’ve seen – so if you need to boost your roster, you can check out their stock here. They also have an impressive amount of stock for A Song of Ice and Fire, Star Wars Legion, X-Wing and the Arkham Horror card game – All of which are solid game systems that I play too.

Board in Brum also has a gaming hall with 24 6×4 gaming tables, which is where I go to play both Marvel Crisis Protocol, and a bunch of other game systems. They’re open six days a week, and three of those are late night gaming nights. If your ever looking for a game, you can post on the Board In Brum community page, and you’ll almost always have someone ready to roll some dice. There are group chats for all the Game systems too – So if you want to be added to any of them all you have to do is post on the Community page.

Does Board in Brum do Marvel events?

Yes! Board in Brum has ran six events in the past, and I’ve attended three of them. All of them have been great events, and one of them was the biggest tournament we have had in real life for MCP in the UK so far! Board in Brum actually have their next event next week, on the 28th of August – It is a one day event with four events, and tickets are £18 including a Chip Shop lunch! You can find tickets here.

Well, do people actually play MCP BIB?

Again, Yes! We mainly play on a Tuesday, and at times have up to six games going at once. We also regularly play on Sundays, but almost every day of the week there is at least one game of Marvel Crisis Protocol happening at Board in Brum.

Giveaways!

So as part of the sponsorship with Board in Brum, they’re providing some Marvel stock for some giveaways that I’m going to run. The first giveaway, is for the following three character boxes:

– Luke Cage & Iron Fist
– Storm & Cyclops
– Crystal & Lockjaw

All of these boxes have some great characters and tactics cards in. Luke Cage & Iron fist slot perfectly into a lot of rosters, and Storm and Cyclops are the start to a Uncanny X-Men roster, whilst Crystal and Lockjaw can fit into different builds and bring token and teleport shenanigans along with them.

The prizes for our sponsored giveaway!

In order to enter the giveaway, you will need to:

Like the Board in Brum Facebook page – Here
Like the Web Warrior Protocols Facebook page – Here
Comment your favourite character or affiliation on the giveaway Facebook post, and like and share the post – Here

I’ll be picking three entrants at random a week from now, on the 26th of August, so stay tuned to see if you win! I’ll share the names of the winners on my Facebook page!

As always, please leave a thumbs up if you enjoyed reading, or a thumbs down if you didn’t! Please feel free to comment any thoughts you have and follow the blog if you want to see future posts!

If you’re looking to expand your roster or jump in to Marvel Crisis Protocol, Check out Board in Brums Marvel section here, for all the MCP goodness you need. Thanks for reading!
